USG - EARLY OB TVS (SINGLE) is a specialized obstetric ultrasound examination performed during the early stages of pregnancy using the transvaginal scanning method. TVS stands for Transvaginal Sonography, where a specially designed ultrasound probe is gently inserted into the vagina to obtain clearer and more detailed images of the pregnancy and pelvic organs.

This scan is commonly performed during the first trimester to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy, assess fetal viability, detect the fetal heartbeat, estimate gestational age, and calculate the expected due date. Because of its higher image clarity in early pregnancy, TVS is especially useful when pregnancy is very early or when a detailed assessment is required.

The examination also helps evaluate the uterus, cervix, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures and can detect early pregnancy complications such as ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage risk, bleeding, or abdominal pain.

The procedure is safe, minimally uncomfortable, radiation-free, and provides an accurate early pregnancy assessment for women carrying a single fetus.
