USG - 3D / 4D OB is a specialized prenatal ultrasound examination that uses advanced imaging technology to create detailed three-dimensional images and live real-time motion views of the developing fetus.
Unlike routine 2D ultrasound, 3D imaging provides clearer visualization of fetal structures such as the face, hands, feet, spine, and body contours, while 4D imaging allows observation of fetal movements, facial expressions, stretching, yawning, and other activities in real time.
The scan helps evaluate fetal growth, anatomy, heartbeat, placental position, amniotic fluid levels, and overall fetal well-being. It may also assist in detecting certain congenital abnormalities and provide additional assessment in high-risk pregnancies.
This examination is commonly performed during the second or third trimester and supports detailed prenatal evaluation, pregnancy monitoring, and delivery planning when required.
