The X-Ray – Foot LAT is a diagnostic imaging procedure that captures a lateral (side) view of the foot. This perspective allows detailed visualization of the bones, joints, and alignment of the foot, including the heel, arch, and toes.

It is commonly used to detect fractures, dislocations, bone deformities, and degenerative conditions affecting the foot. The lateral view is particularly useful for evaluating the arch of the foot, heel bone (calcaneus), and joint spaces, which may not be clearly visible in other views.
