About this scan
MRI-FACE is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to create detailed images of the face, aiding in the diagnosis and evaluation of various facial conditions and diseases.

MRI – Face is an advanced imaging procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the facial region, including facial bones, muscles, nerves, sinuses, salivary glands, and surrounding soft tissues. It provides excellent soft tissue contrast, making it highly effective in diagnosing a wide range of conditions.

This scan is commonly used to detect tumors, infections, inflammation, nerve disorders, trauma, congenital abnormalities, and soft tissue lesions of the face. It is particularly useful in evaluating facial pain, swelling, asymmetry, or unexplained symptoms. MRI can also help assess the extent of disease and guide treatment planning.

The procedure is safe, painless, and does not involve radiation, making it suitable for repeated imaging if needed.

The purpose of this MRI – Face test is to:

  • Evaluate facial pain or swelling
  • Detect tumors or abnormal growths
  • Identify infections or inflammatory conditions
  • Assess nerve-related disorders
  • Diagnose trauma or structural abnormalities
  • Examine salivary glands and soft tissues
Available Exclusively at these Prima Diagnostics Centres: Jayanagar, Whitefield, and Yelahanka
